Talent may exist everywhere, but opportunity does not. When opportunity is taken away, we must become the ones who create it.

Usra is a young Afghan leader, English instructor, community educator, and aspiring changemaker with a passion for transforming education into opportunity. Since 2024, she has worked as an English instructor, guiding students as they develop communication, self-confidence, leadership, and courage.

She established a literacy class where women can learn to read and write, while encouraging girls and women to pursue education, independence, and greater involvement in their communities.
